Ace focuses on the code for Keensited Web Works. He has been coding HTML and JavaScript for Web pages almost since IBM began presenting itself on the Internet. He has produced animations and interactive documents that simplify the concepts underlying the z/OS and OS/390 mainframe operating systems. He was responsible for successful marketing presentations on the Web for both z/OS and Linux for zSeries. For more than 20 years, well before Web presentations, he oversaw the development of conceptual and procedural IBM information both in print and online, ensuring its accuracy, completeness, task relevance, retrievability, sensible organization, visual effectiveness, consistency, clarity, and down-to-earth coherence. He has produced several industrial video presentations for worldwide distribution.
Ace is an expert with HTML, JavaScript, Macromedia Flash and Director, Sound Forge, Media 100 iFinish, and Paint Shop Pro. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (History) from the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington. Ace tends to be very picky about details, fussing over Web pages until they are right. |
Paul focuses on the aesthetics for Keensited Web Works. He is a graphic designer and illustrator with more than 20 years of experience. At IBM he supervised a large graphic design department and oversaw the design and illustration for the Web pages, interactive CD-ROM presentations, and print material documenting the z/OS and OS/390 mainframe operating systems. As creative director at several advertising firms, including his own, he was responsible for new business presentations, collateral material, and TV commercials, supervising art directors, illustrators, copywriters, photographers, retouchers, and printers. In addition to IBM, his clients include Boeing, Forbes Magazine, Revlon, Fruit of the Loom, Proctor & Gamble, Volkswagen, Polaroid, Gillette, Whirlpool, Mobil, and many others.
Paul is an expert with Quark Xpress, Pagemaker, Illustrator, Photoshop, Streamline, and GIFBuilder. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Art (Painting) from St. Martins School of Art in London and a Masters in Art Education from Sheffield University in Sheffield, England. He has taught drawing and color for graphic design at the State University of New York in New Paltz, New York. |
